Mister 1%, it is him. Our dear President Jacques Chirac. Why we call him "mister 1%"? Just because in a poll, 1% of the French citizens said they were in favour of a new candidature of Jacques Chirac for the next presidential elections. 1%... In statistics, we call this a statistical bias, nothing, a statistical error... The end of his mandate should be quite difficult for him. The European referendum, the crisis in the suburbs, the attacks coming from his minister of interior (Sarkozy) and also an hospitalization. But all this mandate is even worse for the French, for France. A real disaster. To be honest, i think he is the worst president of Republic we never had during the 5th Republic. And now, what happen? This guy thinks he is in a new electoral campaign. During the last and the next days, it is the traditional wishes. Wishes for the citizens. Wishes for the press. Wishes for the Trade Unions. And this president has a lot of wishes but never act. And the French are fed up with his constant promises he never put in practice. This year, the great idea of our dear president is to steal all the ideas coming from the left and the trade unions. As always when this president is in campaign, he tried to show an image of a leftist guy. The problem is his policy is really right-winder, neo-liberal and conservative. So this year, we saw a president saying he will reform the financing of the Social Security with higher taxes for firms which decided to delocate their production, he proposed the Professional social security, he proposed more equality at school. This guy did nothing during his 10 years of mandate and the French have to believe he will realize all these great ideas in...one year. Dear President, you don't have the confidence of your citizens anymore. Please, the situation is enough ridiculous.

Attention Rémi, on a toujours eu trop vite tendance à faire l'enterrement politique de Chirac. Combiend e fois depuis 1988 a t on dit qu'il était cramé ? Le sous estimer ne nous a jamais profité.

Bien d'accord avec Valerio. La force de Chichi est d'avoir toujours été pris pour un looser, pour une merde; et d'avoir toujours puisé sa force la dedans (entre son mariage, la mairie de Paris, son élection en 2002, les réseaux anti-Sarko qu'il est en train de monter avec de très hauts appuis d'anciens hauts-flics).
Certes, et mon propos ne visait pas à l'enterrer. loin de là, mais exprimer une certaine fatigue face à la capacité de volte-face de ce président décridibilisé. C'est parceque nous connaissons trop bien sa capacité à retourner les situations qu'il faut sans cesse le mettre face à ses contradictions.
