400 000 peoples demonstrated against CPE!

Yesterday, demonstrations against the Contrat Première Embauche (CPE), what we call "Contract Precarity Exclusion" (read more about CPE here) . 50000 peoples in Paris, 400000 in France (185 demonstrations). A lot of young peoples (see the picture, MJS mobilization in Paris) despite of the holidays of pupils and students. Of course the right-wing and also the media spoke about a great failure of the mobilization. This is not true for different reasons : (1) it is the first demonstration against CPE, it is the begining of the mobilization. (2) The governement did not let enough time for the debate (no consultation of trade unions, only one debate at the National Assembly). We had not a lot of time to explain what is this new contract for young peoples.
Anyway, the fight against this contract is not over. 67% of the French stated they are against this contract. The coalition of youth organizations (Stop Cpe) will call for a new demonstration in one or two weeks after the holidays.
