Demonstrations against CPE tomorrow!

On Friday, Jacques Chirac announced the law will be officially published but he asked to not put it into practice before the adoption of a new law that will change some aspect of this CPE. Completely ridiculous. Trade unions and left-wing parties call for a new day of demonstrations to ask for the withdraw of CPE before any negociations.

We (JUSOS) support your protest of MJS France, the French Unions and the student organisations on the streets in Paris and other French cities. All Jusos stand with you on the streets and feel a deep solidarity with your protests. But the situation in France is not unique in Europe. Young people are increasingly the victims of the neo-liberal policy within whole Europe. Also in Germany the big coalition of conservatives and social democrats agreed on a reform of the dismissal protection which is quite similar to new legislation in France. Jusos expressed their protest against this agreement and will strive against the realisation of this intention. But we need to gain more attention for the problems of young people suffering from the neo-liberal policy in Europe. This is why your protest is so important for us and the entire youth in Europe.
