This week-end, the Global Progressive Youth Forum co-organized (together with the ITUC, Solidar, Social Alert and GPF) a Youth Action on Decent Work in Berlin. More than 250 activists gathered in Berlin to discuss labour issues. GPYF brings together more than 50 activits (ECOSY, IUSY, IFM-SEI). The lists of speakers included Guy Rider, ITUC secretary General, Josep Borell, President of the GPF and former president of the EU Parliament, Harlem Desir, vice-president of the GPF and MEP, Dieter Scholz, DBG Berlin-Brandenburg President, and lots of young leaders of trade unions. Within GPYF: IUSY and ECOSY secretaries general chaired two plenaries; IFM-SEI secretary general and me spoke during two others plenaries. GPYF also led a workshop on 'networking for change' and presented the campaigns on the three organizations related to decent work: Rights@work (IUSY), More and Better Jobs (ECOSY) and Stop child labour (IFM-SEI / GPYF).
