Sharon Stone vs Barroso

The social movement concerning CPE will continue. Next Thursday, demonstrations of students and pupils. Next Tuesday, strikes and demonstrations of all trade unions. Yesterday, we learnt very worrying news. A trade unionist was beaten by policemen after the last demonstration in Place de la Nation. He is in the coma, we don't know if he will survive. What we fear happened. Towards the lack of dialogue of the government, the social movement will be more and more violent from both side with possible serious damages.

Concerning international supports, SDU in
Serbia informed us yesterday they will organize a small demonstration in front of the French embassy to support us in our struggle. Thanks to them! We (not us directely ;) also received the support of Sharon Stone. 'The law is clearly not adapted, and the people have the right to know why they are kicked out their job'. At the contrary, commenting on the French protests against the CPE of this weekend Jose-Manuel Barroso states that Europeans show "nostalgia for revolution, but fear of reform", as EUobserver.com reports, giving his support to the French government in this social movement. Read the analysis of Clemenska concerning this issue: "It also show's the complete disorientation of Barroso and his neoliberal sidekicks as soon as they are confronted with the voice of the European population."
