In the last 10 days, took place the Global village, a festival attended by 5000 peoples organized by the International Falken Movement (IFM-SEI). Maurice, Ania, Brian (see the report of Brian here) and Uwe organized a meeting of the Global Progressive Youth Forum there (IFM-SEI is member of the GPYF) on Rights@work, and more especially on the specific problem of Child Labour. This Youth Parliament of Global Village Youth Festival 2006 declare s that young people have a vital role to play in taking action across the world to make our globe fair to all people , so they can live with out war, poverty, prejudice and discrimination, and with education and awareness, and sustainable use of energy and resources. It is declared that young people everywhere should assert the ir power to seek and pursue effective actions to change the world. Empowered, young people can take into their community bodies, national, international, and global structures, examples of action to:

• By using consumer power to publicly boycott unfair companies
• By using share holde r power to change unfair companies
• By lobbying public bodie s and governments to demand fair trade
