While EU needs a strong European budget in order to finance the enlargement and stimulate growth and territorial solidarity, Tony Blair, President of the EU during these 6 months, announces he would propose to agree on a lower European budget. At the contrary, we propose to increase this budget by the creation of a European Tax and a fiscal harmonization among the member states. A fair way to achieve social progress all over Europe. Of course, the CAP must be reformed in order to develop a sustainable agriculture.
LONDRES (AP) -- La Grande-Bretagne, qui assure la présidence tournante de
l'Union européenne, envisagerait de réduire le budget européen pour tenter de
sortir de l'impasse sur les financements futurs, ont laissé entendre lundi les
services du Premier ministre Tony Blair. Et ce en taillant dans les fonds
structurels, au risque de mécontenter les nouveaux Etats-membres qui en sont les
premiers bénéficiaires.
