Villepin announced the "State of emergency"

To stop the riots in the suburbs, the French Prime minister announced yesterday the possibility to put in place the "State of Emergency", allowing the prohibition of being outside after 10pm. The law used for this is one of 1955, created to put an end to the war in Algeria. It is a serious problem. How can we explain that a Right-Wing government, elected in 1995 to solve the 'fracture social' and elected in 2002 to solve the problem of insecurity, has to take this kind of very dangerous measures?

The political irresponsability of Sarkozy, the lack of social answers from the government explain the width of the violence. We condemn strongly all these violence, now burning schools or public services. But we don't forget the huge responsibility of the Right and the irresponsibility of the minister for internal affairs.

The Youth is angry in France. The social crisis is here and the Right-wing worsen the situation. But the peaceful way to oppose the governments will be in any cases more efficient to the violence hurting the poorest and giving arguments to the extreme-right.
