The French Riots in the International Media

"Intifada of the suburbs", "revolution of the migrants", "civil war", it seems that some international media gives a strange image of the (real) problem of riots in France. First, i want to reassure all my international comrades.. Paris is not on fire and the French continue their lives without any being in danger. We are not in Bagdad or in Northern Ireland... ;-)

However, it is true there is a huge problem in our suburbs, and the social crisis explosed in unacceptable violence (see on this point my previous post on this blog, and the official position of MJS). We will propose a resolution to the next ECOSY Bureau.

I was watching yesterday CNN and saw something on the French riots. I have to admit, it was quite funny. In the picture, you can see the map of France according to our American friends. In this map, we have to see that all France is on fire... But.. the problem is that, according to this map, it is not only France but a significant part of Europe. Rennes is situated at the place of Paris, Paris more or less at the place of Strasbourg and Strasbourg.. i think in Germany or maybe in Austria. Toulouse is just near Milan and Lyon in the center of France. hahaha. Sorry. On the right corner, it is written "Google Earth", so i don't know who made the mistakes. But if this is the wonderful tool provided by Google, i have some doubts on its efficiency...
